Four Cambridge houses have been named in the country’s top 100 best builds as National Gold Reserve Finalists in the Registered Master Builders 2016 House of the Year.
David Kelly, Chief Executive of the Registered Master Builders Association said as the building boom continues the competition recognises what is possible.
“Our builders consistently demonstrate excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail to ensure better homes, better workplaces, and ultimately better lives for all New Zealanders.”
Daniel Klinkenberg, owner and founder of Hamilton-based Urban Homes, has plenty to smile about again this year having hit the double with both houses he entered being listed in the top 100.
The first, is the company’s 286 sq metre show-home in St Kilda, Cambridge constructed in part from recycled Christchurch bricks took out the GIB Show Home category win and received a gold award. The other is the NuLook New Homes $650,000 to $1Million category.
